Washington, D.C., June 8th, 2020 –Farmerline became the newest member of the SME Finance Forum, a global membership network that brings together financial institutions, technology companies, and development finance institutions to share knowledge, spur innovation, and promote the growth of SMEs.

Farmerline is a company that combines technology, and a network of field agents to serve farmers and other players throughout the agricultural value chain. Farmerline and its partners have digitised and served over 500,000 farmers, mapping 1 million acres of farmland across 16 countries. Farmerline’s technology, Mergdata, was included on TIME Magazine list of 100 best inventions of 2019. In 2018, they were recognized as the second most innovative company by Fast Company.
