Washington, D.C., October 16th, 2019 – The Development Bank of Rwanda became the newest member of the SME Finance Forum, a global membership network that brings together financial institutions, technology companies, and development finance institutions to share knowledge, spur innovation, and promote the growth of SMEs. 

On October 8th, during the 2019 Global SME Finance Forum, IFC and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women launched a progress report titled "IFC and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women: Investing in Women's Business Growth". This report demonstrates that WEOF has already exceeded its investment and mobilization goals and has made strong progress towards achieving all of its objectives, helping to close the global credit gap for women SMEs.

Winners of the 2019 Global SME Finance Forum Awards. Awards Ceremony held in Amsterdam on October 7th.

The Global SME Finance Forum 2019 welcomed over 650 attendees from more than 280 institutions in 75 countries.
